OTR Driver

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilizes knowledge of DOT regulations and logging
• Transport goods long distances to customers. Should anticipate travel of 5-7 days at a time.
• Maintains accurate driving logs and delivery records
• Communicates with Dispatcher daily
• Regularly travels over 200 miles and covers the continental United States
• Plans route to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment
• Verifies load inventory and validating counts
• Performs routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and log requirements and 3-5 years and 350,000 miles of commercial driving experience
• Possession of Class A Driver’s License with air brake endorsement, supplemented by a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to travel short and long distances
• Proven ability to follow safe driving practices
