About the Position:

• Salary: $36,400-$52,400
• This is a full-time position
• The Outreach Worker will promote a strong parent-child relationship
• The Outreach Worker will increase parents’ competence and confidence in parenting
• Will work as a collaborative member of community
• Plan and facilitate weekly parent/child interactive playgroups within Chittenden County
• The Outreach Worker will maintain client records and track data
• Establish, plan, and facilitate monthly parent education classes within the community
• Creating and facilitating parent support groups
• Coordinate the Welcome Baby Bag program

What We Look For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field or experience.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have experience working with teens, children, and families.
• Must have experience with home visiting
• Valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation required; statewide travel will be required.
