About the Position:
- Salary: $36,400-$52,400
- This is a full-time position
- The Outreach Worker will promote a strong parent-child relationship
- The Outreach Worker will increase parents’ competence and confidence in parenting
- Will work as a collaborative member of community
- Plan and facilitate weekly parent/child interactive playgroups within Chittenden County
- The Outreach Worker will maintain client records and track data
- Establish, plan, and facilitate monthly parent education classes within the community
- Creating and facilitating parent support groups
- Coordinate the Welcome Baby Bag program
What We Look For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field or experience.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have experience working with teens, children, and families.
- Must have experience with home visiting
- Valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation required; statewide travel will be required.
