Our 69 year old organization is seeking an experienced BE/BC Orthopedist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, performing extremity surgical procedures, and providing patient education and counseling. A significant part of the position will be providing one-time evalutions and narrative reports on behalf of the injured for use in the Worker's Compensation or Superior Court system of New Jersey. Given that this position could be either FT/PT, this is an ideal position for a younger candidate looking to supplement an existing private practice or for a older candidate trying to develop a mid/late career transition in the NY/NJ Metro area.
The Orthopedist will also be expected to stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of orthopedics and apply them to their practice. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about advocating for and providing quality care to their patients.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
- Perform physical examinations and order laboratory tests to diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions.
- Prescribe medications, physical therapy, and other treatments as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures to treat orthopedic conditions.
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide Orthopedic Evaluations for use in Superior Court and Worker's Compensation Courts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
