This is a new position aimed at supporting 2 areas in our office: Optician and Front Desk Receptionist.
As an Optician: You will be part of a team responsible for assisting our patients in selecting lenses and frames that fit their lifestyle and sense of fashion. You will be their frame stylist! You will engage with patients in an authentic way by sharing expertise & experience related to their eyewear needs. Additionally, the optician drives profitable sales growth and patient retention by providing exceptional service; attracting and retaining patients for life.
Front Desk Receptionist: Here you will be the "1st Impression" for our patients. Assisting patients with verifying any insurance needs and getting them setup in our computer system. You will verify patient information and assist in setting up appointments for our patients, this could be in person or on the phone. Customer service is a big focus of this area.
We are seeking the right candidate to contribute their expertise in customer service, provide product knowledge to ur patients, and, someone who is truly a professional in every situation that may arise in an optical practice setting. Experience is not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities include: assisting patients with finding the right frame, applying various insurance company benefits to orders, adjusting, ordering and verifying glasses. Educate patients on the products we have available, greet patients with a genuine smile and have an attitude of "How can I help you?" ,and look up patient insurance for eligibility. Computer skills are a must.
