Ossining Family Optometry is looking for an Optical Assistant with at least 1 year of previous experience to join our growing team. Applicant should have prior knowledge of vision insurances, lab ordering, lens materials and designs. Does not need to be certifified in optical dispensing. Duties will include verifying and explaining vision benefits, helping patients pick glasses, ordering contacts, submitting glasses order to insurances and frame adjustments.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

All staff must wear masks in office. Non-vaccinated patients must wear mask while in the office.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
