The Key Responsibilities of this position.
The Operations Manager will successfully lead the warehouse operations and team. This will include building high-performance teams, managing KPIs and ensuring success. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, outstanding leadership and customer service skills.

Value Creation for our customers: The Operations Manager will lead and coordinate the activities of the team within the warehouse. They will oversee daily, weekly and monthly operations as well as provide excellent customer service while demonstrating the Nellis Auction Core Values.
Value Creation for the company: The Operations Manager will work closely with the warehouse floor team to ensure efficiency, accuracy and safety of the team, while maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. They will also be available to provide resolution to any customer issues that may arise. They will oversee the hiring and training of staff. They will also be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity for improvement to help cultivate a constantly improving culture.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coordinate all activities of all warehouse team members.
- Maintain all machines, equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Support General Manager in all company initiatives.
- Oversee the Area/ Assistant Managers and their initiatives.
- Resolve any escalated customer issues, not resolved by Area/ Asst. Manager.
- Maintain optimal level of customer service and mentor other team members in customer service.
- Maximize profitability and setting/ meeting sales targets, including motivating team members to do so as well.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed for maximum safety and efficiency - including proper handling and storage of products.
- Liaison with Area/ Asst. Managers
- Liaison with General Manager
Expectations to Apply:
Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving: Test their abilities and mindset toward identifying root cause issues and how they would implement solutions. Ideas include assessments of their root cause analysis skills, roleplaying an operations scenario that they need to solve, or written reports on how they have completed root cause analysis and implemented solutions in their current role.
Tenure/Experience: 5 years minimum of management experience
Project Management: Show examples of projects that they have completed which satisfied each of our three company uniques. They should be able to detail out how they completed these initiatives, relevant data points that show progress in these initiatives, how they have been able to sustain these improvements, and how they communicated with and galvanized the team to achieve these goals.
Leadership/Team Development: Must have led a team of 20+ employees, have previous experience leading managers and have an example of what they have done to set up their successor or develop new leaders in their previous roles.
Supervisor Referral: Two referral letters from previous supervisors complete with contact information
Proven Results: Must demonstrate KPI improvements they made at their previous companies and their role in driving them.
Business Acumen: Prove an ability to analyze data and use that information to guide actionable objectives (DAGAO). Examples would include looking at the OPS KPI and being able to determine opportunities for improvement and coming up with ideas for actions to take.
Communication: Proven abilities in group/public speaking, one on one interactions, upward communication, and how you deliver bad news.
P&C Fit: Will be evaluated by the P&C team to determine if they are a culture fit. We will implement tools such as DISC scores and GWC/People Analyzer to identify if they will be a good fit for the role, as well as test them on their understanding of our core values and three company uniques.
