1-800-GOT-JUNK? is a full service junk removal company. We go into homes and businesses to remove “junk” that our clients no longer want. This could be a large job, like you see on the show Hoarders, or it may be as small as a mini fridge or bike that they want to be removed. Our average customer utilizes our service twice a year and has us remove about a half a truck of items.
The Northeast location of our Allentown Franchise operates 8 trucks and is based out of Scranton, PA . While our team headcount varies throughout the year, we will peak at about 15-18 employees over the summer months.
What we are looking for
- A natural leader with a positive “Let’s get it done” attitude
- A motivator that can get hourly employees excited to be at work
- Someone who is willing to work side by side with the team in the field, on the truck, servicing our customers
- A leader who can identify and develop the next generation of leaders from within
- 3+ years of Operations Management
What you will be doing
- Supervising the team’s daily activity. Dispatching jobs and routing trucks in the most efficient manner
- Assisting with interviewing and hiring truck team members
- Onboarding employees and overseeing our coaches to ensure proper, continued training for the truck team
- Fleet Management - Ensuring trucks are inspected daily and scheduling repairs and maintenance
- Building and developing systems and processes to take our franchise to another level
- Continuously driving a positive culture among the truck teams
- Ensuring compliance with all franchise health and safety requirements
Other requirements
- Available to work some Saturdays
- A valid and clean drivers license (Last 3 years)
- Proficient with technology (Google Suite is a plus)
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
