The Military and Veterans Health Solutions (MVHS) Operation has a summer opening for an Operations Intern to support communication, outreach, and operational projects including employee engagement, morale initiatives and on-site task support. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can contribute by developing ideas and translate them to executable plans then work with leadership to bring them to completion.

Primary Responsibilities

This individual will work with the MVHS Operation leadership team in creating engagement programs and outreach communication plans for distribution across the operation. They will draft correspondence, create newsletter templates, research ,assist in assembling and mailing morale packages, and develop recommendations for recognition programs. They will support additional on-site tasks as requested.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS in Business (or related fields including Marketing, Communications, Human Resources).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing and editing skills, good communication skills and ability to effectively reason through tasks and decisions.
• Ability to confidently present work to peers, leadership and executives through concise and direct communication.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Can work independently.
