Role Overview:
The Operations Control Manager will be part of the OpsRec team performing various reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of books and records.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily/monthly revenue and P&L reconciliations/reports across multiple businesses
- Perform daily bank reconciliations for cash and positions across multiple clearing locations
- Perform daily/monthly reconciliations of all General Ledger accounts including fails, dividends, DKs, re-orgs etc.
- Perform quarterly Stock Loan/ Stock Borrow confirmations
- Partner with IT and Business Units in evaluating, recommending, testing and user acceptance of new technologies by contributing thoughts, ideas and recommendations to strategic plans
- Partnering with various Finance and A/R teams to meet all regulatory and internal polices
- Promote automation efficiencies throughout the organization which will lead to an increased level of control, enhance accuracy and timing of processes in addition to reducing operating costs.
- Pro-active participation and coordination of all audit requests (internal & external). Participate in walk throughs and deliver accurate and complete support. Organize and review all documents s requested for all Regulatory meetings and/or exams
- Ensuring departmental Policy & Procedure documentation is kept updated
- Contribute to implementation of new projects, processes and systems
- Remotely oversee the work of the 2 team members locating into Louisville to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
Qualifications & Experience
- Product knowledge including, but not limited to equities, fixed income, foreign exchange & interest rate swaps
- Understanding of Broker Dealer Operations functions, trading life cycle and Settlements
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of security industry guidelines
- Strong understanding of VBA/Macros in Excel preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Independent, self-motivated, with ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
- Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills
- Strong risk and controls awareness
- Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate
- Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
- Multi-tasker who can manage multiple streams of work concurrently
- Wide knowledge of financial products
- Experience of delivering analytics solutions to internal and/or external clients
- Excellent attention to detail
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in financial services
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a management role
- Bachelor’s degree required

Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000
