BI-LINGUAL (SPANISH) HEALTHCARE ENTRY LEVEL ONBOARDING SPECIALIST NEEDED
LOCATED IN LINCOLNWOOD, ILLINOIS
Do you have a passion for providing new employees with the best possible onboarding experience? Our healthcare workers are hired to provide quality care for our nation's most vulnerable population in skilled nursing facilities. So, we want them treated with quality customer service during the hiring process. And because we have Spanish speaking candidates, we need someone who is also fluent in that language.

Generations is a consortium of healthcare facilities in Illinois and Indiana that include skilled nursing, assisted living and residential mental health facilities.
This position is perfect for someone with 1 year of Human Resources (HR) experience or Administrative/Office Management experience who is looking to advance their career. Upward mobility is always an opportunity within our organization as our team grows.
This position is not remote and requires regular commuting to Lincolnwood each day and periodic visits to our facilities in Illinois and Indiana.
The salary range for this position is $35,000-40,000 depending on experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with qualifying and onboarding healthcare workers PREFERRABLY IN SKILLED NURSING OR MENTAL HEALTH SETTINGS or for a healthcare staffing agency.
Must have:
  • Experience with recruiting/ATS software preferred
  • Excellent computer skills; Office 365; MS Office

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ONBOARDING SPECIALIST INCLUDE:

  • Sending and receiving background check and work history forms to candidates via Adobe
  • Running background checks and doing references
  • Launching new hire packets through our HR system, Paylocity
  • Organizing and merging files
  • Assist when needed with uploading files and rolling people into Payroll
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Experience in healthcare HR or Office Administration- preferably for skilled nursing and/or residential mental health facilities
  • Must be personable, confident and outgoing
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish would be preferred
  • A knowledge of Paylocity, Indeed and other job posting sites or Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent writing and communication skills a must
  • A creative mind - someone who always looks for a way to get results
  • Must be a flexible, go with the flow type personality; easily adaptable to change
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills a necessity
  • Must understand the importance of healthcare staffing and how it affects care and treatment
  • Some college preferred but relevant experience will be considered
