Job Title: Omax Waterjet Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking an entry-level Omax Waterjet Operator to set up and operate an Omax waterjet cutting machine to produce high-quality precision parts and components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Omax waterjet cutting machines to cut a variety of materials to precise specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerances are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on the waterjet machine to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy and make necessary adjustments to the machine to ensure consistent results.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Comply with safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep records of production data, including material used, machine maintenance, and work performed.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical school degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC or CNC-like machines
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
