This position proactively provides administrative support to the Development Team through effective communication and a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Development Team
  • Interact with donors, alumni, corporations and foundations, and the campus community to schedule meetings, compile reports and proposal data, and assist with projects
  • Arrange travel and prepare necessary trip materials
  • Manage calendars
  • Prepare and process expense reports
  • Manage office supplies
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings, both on and off campus
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and respond to office inquiries
  • Supports senior level team members and assists with highly visible complex scenarios
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytic and time management skills, as well as excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while exhibiting strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience with travel arrangements, managing multiple calendars, preparing meeting agendas, and synthesizing data/information
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills (oral, written, in-person)
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
