We are a small family-owned business that is looking to add someone self-motivated and efficient to our team. ZLN Finance is a finance company primarily composed of auto loans and some small business to business loans. Primarily sub-prime lending through indirect auto dealerships. We are also looking to invest in small business ventures that will help us grow our portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day activities that ensure effective account management of assigned accounts.
- Review open Aging report for all assigned accounts and prioritize collection activities.
- Communicate via phone, email, fax, and letters with customers concerning status of payments.
- Follow up on collection calls with customers.
- Vehicle Inventory management.
- Process Insurance Verification and contact customers with expired policies.
- Scanning and Organizing files
- Maintain and develop spreadsheets to keep track of repossessed vehicles and/or missing titles.
- Business Development/Sales; help the company acquire business from new dealerships. Collectively help with new ideas to help ZLN grow and be more efficient.
- Keep track of Titles received and/or missing.
- Contact and work with multiple vendors, such as repossession companies, collections agencies and others.
- Assist with credit applications from interested customers, run credit and send adverse action letters to those applicants that don’t qualify for loan approval.
Skills/Experience
- High level of organizational skills, integrity, and accuracy.
- Collections experience a plus
- Bookkeeping/Accounting a plus
- Help us with Marketing to establish an online presence, social media, etc.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills working with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- The ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter, pro-active and able to work independently as well as be part of a team.
- Spanish a plus.
There is a 90-day evaluation period where you would be required to work about 40 hours per week. During evaluation period salary would range between 30k-35k.
