Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Office Administrator (Contractor) to join our team in Troy, Michigan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the office environment: supply cabinets, lunch room, equipment in cafeteria, printers, furniture, landline phones, partitions etc.
- Manage all purchases and inventory lists for office
- Perform shipping and receiving activities such as unloading and packing items for General Affairs
- Assist with office related items, events and announcements
- Process company vehicle contract, auto insurance and Manages the company vehicle operation guidelines.
- Provide monthly information regarding General Affair’s budget for the rolling forecast
- Pre-approval and enforcement of expenses for all General Affairs activities
- Manages and handles all company expenses on the FedEx account
- Manages the monthly/quarterly/yearly General Affairs budget
- Coordinates contractors in the building by meeting and escorting during visits.
- Assist with purchase process for Fixed Assets, keep records, operating survey
- Maintain the office in good condition
- Creates and distributes various guides related to office
- Prints various materials: calendars/nameplates/business cards production/payment management
- Handle and communicate with all areas of General Affairs shared service for building management
- Support visitors and vendors
- Recommend, design and implement hazard abatement measures.
- Establish safety expectations and protocols for contracted agencies, workers and firms.
- Drive to various GA (General Affairs) tasks such as going to local stores for urgent purchases, VP protocol & SOS visits for registration renewal.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of relevant job experience
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs frequently
- Valid Unexpired Driver’s License
- Travel up to 20% (domestic only)
