Work Schedule


Work schedule is 20-25 hours per week. Work schedule varies.

Office hours are Monday-Thurday, 8 am-5 pm, Friday, 10 am-5 pm

Some evenings and weekends may be required

Summer hours are Monday - Thursday 8 am to 6 pm

Job Summary


This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Office Admin for Disability Resources & Services (Part-Time). This position will be the first point of contact for faculty and staff and assist in answering phones, scheduling student appointments, administering tests, and answering questions from students and staff about the DRS office and services.

Essential Functions

  • Provides reception duties; greets visitors and answers routine questions; receives and refers calls; takes and relays messages; may serve as central point for telephone contact
  • Assists students by providing information about DRS office and assists students with department application and onboarding processes, including assisting in collecting student paperwork, and maintain student files in department database
  • Responsible for scheduling student appointments, and maintaining department calendar
  • Assist in administering student tests, which may include serving as a scribe and/or reader for student
  • Responsible for scanning documents, and preparing photocopies
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications


High School Diploma or GED

Special Working Conditions

  • May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor
  • May be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs.
