We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The OT will work with patients in their homes to help them improve their abilities to perform daily activities and achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health and be able to work independently.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Position Details:
- Type: 13 weeks contract
- Immediate openings
- Shift Start Time: 8:00 am
- Shift & Schedule: Monday-Friday,8 hours/shift, 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform individualized evaluation and ongoing assessment related to the patient’s condition, addressing special needs and behaviors. This will include but is not limited to, assessments of a range of motion, strength, mobility, coordination, transfers, activities of daily living such as feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene, and cognitive and perceptual deficits.
- Develop treatment goals, in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, that are time specific and result in a discharge of the patient to his home environment attaining the highest level of function possible. Intervention may include the need to design, fabricate, select, and fit prosthetic, orthotic, and self-help devices.
- Develop the treatment plan and revise it as necessary from the goals set by the interdisciplinary team in coordination with the physician, the patient, and the family.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Washington
- Baccalaureate, master’s degree, or certificate in Occupational Therapy
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
- Knowledge and training in the special needs of patients from young adults to geriatric ages and is responsible for the needs associated with these groups.
- Current Washington State Driver’s license and proof of insurability
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
- Reliable transportation
- At least 18 months of Occupational therapy experience
- Experience in Home Health/Geriatric is needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current BLS certification
- Two (2) positive work references
- Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
