Job Summary:
Accepts 7 days/week, 24/day responsibility assisting facility in planning, developing, organizing, directing, and evaluating overall operations of Long-Term care facility. Consistently demonstrates loyalty and commitment to the facility staff as well as established standards, goals, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Possesses a four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- Maintains a current, valid Tennessee State Nursing Home Administrator’s License
- Possesses a minimum two (2) years applicable management or comparable experience in a long term care setting
- Possesses strong knowledge regarding state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care
- Successfully completes facility conducted orientation, mandatory training and in-service programs
- Meets health assessment requirements, including two stage Mantoux skin test
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
