Job description

Our nursery is looking for an experienced and compassionate individual to help care for our children. We're seeking a Nursery Worker with experience handling children and an enthusiasm for working with kids from a variety of backgrounds. A suitable candidate will display patience and sound judgment, be well-spoken, and willing to accept direction.

Hours available are Sundays from 8:30am-1:00pm. Additional hours available are Sundays from 5:30pm-9:00pm and Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Applicants may apply for only Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, or Wednesdays, or a combination of these shifts.

Additional hours will be available for special events if the nursery worker is available and desires the extra hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and secure environment for children age 0-3 years.
• Use check-in system to register children and parents.
• Assist teacher with lesson and teaching times.
• Report to nursery coordinator and/or children's pastor.
• Provide safe and attentive care to children.
• Clean and sanitize toys and surfaces after services.
• Open the nursery area 30 minutes prior to services.
• Maintain clean and neat appearance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tulsa, OK 74105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
• Working in a childcare facility, school, or church: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
