Summary:
The Medical Provider provides direct care and ensures the systematic provision of clinical care and social services that meet agency’s client engagement expectations. Works effectively and collaboratively with Program Director, Clinical Director and clinical staff as well as health plans and community stakeholders. This position is Monday through Thursday with scheduled hours at approximately 16 hours worked a week. This is a 1099 contracted role. There is an on call responsibility of Monday Evening through Friday Morning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to clients
• Consults with primary healthcare providers to ensure physical healthcare needs of clients are met
• Coordinates with medical staff of other providers such as state and inpatient facilities.

Licensure, Education, & Experience:

• Active medical license in Georgia
• X waiver for Suboxone
• One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting and must possess direct clinical training and work in the areas of substance use disorder treatment

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
