We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Inver Grove Heights and an opening for a experienced diesel engine technician in our Truck Shop. We are looking for someone with 4 plus years of experience, an expertise working with diesel engines, detail oriented, and a strong work ethic.

SCHEDULE: *1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm (approx. 40-60 hours per week).

The essential duties include:*

• Performs repair on diesel truck engines.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
• Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
• Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

Requirements

Our other location is in Clearwater, Minnesota. Although a smaller facility, it offers quality truck and trailer services you expect from any one of our locations. Blaine Brothers TRUCKALINE offers complete frame, suspension and alignment services.
