Overview:
The Non-Gaming Revenue Manger – Entertainment is responsible for overseeing the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance audits of entertainment as prescribed by the GCB, preparation of LET tax filing and remittance of LET tax, liaison with respect to LET audits with the GCB, verification of revenues for the DOR and Financial Statements, reconciliation of entertainment sales to cash settlements reports. In addition will assist with management of staff and provide any other assistance/guidance as need in the non-Gaming revenue department. Responsibilities:

In addition will assist with management of staff and provide any other assistance/guidance as need in the non-Gaming revenue department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist in the hiring and training of the non-Gaming staff to in include Hotel, F&B and Entertainment clerks.
- Oversee the reconciliation of all entertainment revenues and including the comps, refunds, and room charges.
- Reconciling entertainment sales to cash settlement reports.
- Verify the accuracy of the recording of entertainment income, analyzing and reporting, inefficiencies, or weaknesses in operational procedures with recommendations for improvement.
- Minimize losses from credit card charge backs, review daily and undertake prompt actions and implementing proper procedures.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Complete month-end accounting procedures as specified, including monthly reports and balance sheets.
- Provide additional support to the department as requested, with the expected ability and desire to gain progressive knowledge of on-property operations as well as other accounting departments within Revenue Verification.
- Shows initiative and problem solving for daily challenges.
- Assist the Revenue Verification Manager in developing and implementing new audit processes and procedures as operational changes occur.
- Ability to review and evaluate performance of team, allocate, coordinate and assign resources.
- Ensures compliance of all department and company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Prioritize job functions in order to meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field and three (3) years’ experience. Hotel/Food and Beverage accounting experience strongly preferred. Must be proficient in Excel.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental and organizational regulations. Ability to write and develop reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information effectively, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply certain concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and NGCB.- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and casino policies.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
