Our client has a new opportunity for a Network Engineer to join their team onsite in the Blaine, WA area. This Engineer will play a critical role in cybersecurity compliance of the maintenance for computers, networks, and applications and will assist in the overall upkeep of these assets. This candidate will join an instrumentation and electrical department and refining computing team. This Engineer will work from 6:30am to 3:00pm PST.
Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity focus

Provide technical support for IT assets
-
Cybersecurity (antivirus) and security patches
-
Backups and images of all IT assets
-
Recovery and reporting of compromised systems
-
Day-to-day maintenance of computer assets
-
Software management and installation of software on IT assets
-
Ensures hardware, cabling, and supporting accessories are serviceable and available
Skills and Qualifications:
-
2-year or 4-year technical degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems
-
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented / collaborative environment; as well as experience working independently, including task identification and prioritization

Thorough understanding of Networking (TCP / IP, Client / Server, Ethernet, LAN)

Domain / Active Directory knowledge

Proven skills in troubleshooting system problems

Strong communication skills (oral and written)
-
Ability to convey technical concepts and issues to non-technical staff
-
Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain a professional attitude when working with customers, peers, and management

High-level of motivation and a bias for action
-
Highly structured and organized with attention to accuracy and detail
Potential Pay Rate: $38/hr. – $40/hr.
