We are recruiting for a national sales manager to join our supportive and tenacious team. This is a great job for an experienced distribution leader looking for a new challenge in a brand-new role for Aviva Health. A bit about the job:
This role is a field-based distribution role focussed on managing Aviva Health’s relationship with our key distribution partners in the consumer and small business sectors. These key partners account for over £150m of Aviva business and are crucial to the future success of the Aviva Health business. The role leads a team of field-based account managers and will have challenging sales, retention and profitability targets associated to it. The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of our relationship with the key partner, including remuneration structures, contracts, performance manager and regulatory conduct. You will report directly to the head of Aviva Health Distribution and be part of the distribution senior leadership team.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Previous experience of portfolio management would be essential
- Track record of building high performing teams and cultures and being a business leader
- Strong financial acumen and numerical analysis skills
- Natural negotiator with strong influencing and relationship building skills
- Naturally proactive to identify and generate their own opportunities for new business

- Starting salary between £65,000 and £80,000 (National) and £75,000 and £90,000 (London based candidates) depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications

- Bonus opportunity - 12% annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
