Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a registered civil engineer to be the Practice Leader for the Municipal Services Division in our Missouri office. The Practice Leader will develop and grow the municipal design team, oversee project delivery, client management, business development, and personnel elements. The Practice Leader will also be responsible for developing strong working relationships with other municipal design teams within the firm.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide technical direction and supervision to licensed and non-licensed engineers, designers, and other production personnel who collectively range widely in experience.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff as necessary to manage specific engineering tasks within larger complex projects.
• Be familiar with engineering studies, reports, and design requirements needed to complete projects throughout the Midwest.
• Lead the marketing and business development efforts.
• Contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal preparation efforts.

• High level of confidence and strong work ethic, with proven teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Inherent high degree of interpersonal and effective communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related technical field in an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Experience with Nebraska Municipal clients preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in NE.
• A minimum of 12 years’ experience of increasingly responsible, professional experience in the study, design, and construction administration of municipal infrastructure projects.

Annual Salary Range: $85,000 - $152,000
