Liberty Healthcare is now hiring for an available full-time Nurse Investigator position.

In this role, you will be an active contributor with a large-scale program that seeks to protect and ensure the quality of services and supports provided to older adults and people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will be an integral part of Liberty Healthcare’s agile team which focuses on initiatives related to critical incident investigations and reporting; continuous quality management; data systems; and HCBS provider oversight, technical assistance, and training.

The responsibilities of this position primarily involve reviewing myriad source documents related to the death and preceding medical care and health conditions of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Your analysis of findings and expert opinion will then enable you to produce comprehensive summary reports which will be required within specific timeframes. Additional responsibilities will include participating in various committees and stakeholder meetings.

The downstream impact of your work will contribute to the advancement of systemic quality improvement initiatives that positively impact the health and well-being of a significant number of older adults and people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a valued full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare, you can expect the following:

  • Salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 (based on qualifications and experience)

This position comes with a high degree of autonomy and will allow you to primarily work remotely from your home office. Residency within Nebraska or within three hours driving distance of Lincoln, NE is required.

You are a good fit for this role if you are licensed professionally in Nebraska as a Registered Nurse.

Prior experience in areas related to quality assurance, utilization review, clinical investigations, mortality review, and / or services for people who have disabilities is preferred.
