Athena Montessori Academy is seeking reliable, trainable, growth-minded people from all walks of life who love children and have a desire to make the world a better place. We are hiring Assistant Guides for our Infant and Toddler program, as well as Support Guides and Floaters with students in our Infant (4-18 months), Toddler (18 months-3 years) and/or Primary (3-6 year olds) classrooms and After School Program (2 to 6 year olds). We are hiring for next school year but the start date is flexible; we are hoping to bring on new team members now or for summer camp to receive training prior to the new school year. Candidates who speak both English and/or Spanish are invited to apply.

Ideal candidates should (but not required) have at least two years’ experience working in a school or daycare, as a nanny, or in a licensed childcare facility; have excellent communication skills; experience working with this age group; and are passionate about the education of the young child for a better world. We are a school that not only aspires to meet the children’s academic development, but we also hold their social and emotional development in high regard. We are seeking candidates with a track record of dependability, reliability, and integrity, who understand the importance of a strong work ethic.
