Summary Description:
Produce aluminum castings for commercial contracts.
Essential Functions:
- Perform general mold prep work
- Perform general cast post-pour work
- Operate automated molten aluminum pouring machines
- Monitor furnaces for proper metal consistency and output
- Operate automated rapping machines
- Manually rap out parts
- Operate large saws and other associated machines
- Operate hand tools such as grinders, die grinders, hammers, air hammers, spray guns, etc.
- Perform visual part inspections
- Perform torch use
- Utilize mobile equipment and crane operation
- Perform general housekeeping and paperwork (routing, scheduling, and QA) as needed
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
Skills or Experience Required:
Must have High School diploma or GED; equivalent job experience is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus.
