Job Summary
Operates heavy & light construction equipment, including backhoes, cable plow, Mini-Ex, Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) & other types of machinery & assures maintenance of these as required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavation and other construction equipment
- Load and transport materials and equipment to jobsites
- Assist in setting up the jobsite safely
- Fill in as a laborer as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- 1+ years of experience in underground construction preferred
- 6 mo. to 1 year of experience operating excavation equipment preferred
- Ability to recognize hand signals and directions from locator or operator
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) strongly preferred
