Job Summary

Make a “Pawsitive” impact on families in the Coopersburg area providing care for pets and peace of mind for the parents while they are at work. You will LOVE your job because your clients are ecstatic to see you and you are not stuck behind a desk!

For 15 years, Pawsitive Purfection Pet Sitting & Services LLC has been providing in-home pet sitting in communities such as Allentown, Macungie, Slatington and Schnecksville. Your work schedule will vary depending on the clients' needs.

Necessary Qualities:

*Be able to provide care and walks for dogs while their owners are at work.

Midday hours for walks are 11am-1:30pm.

• Love animals

• Have an IPhone or Android Smartphone
• Be able to communicate with proper grammar in emailed updates to clients
• Be able to take photos with your phone to include in updates to clients
• Responsible, dependable, trustworthy and detail oriented
• Time management skills
• Be flexible with your schedule
• Own a reliable car with insurance coverage that can be driven to the visits
• Must be able to problem solve
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Be a self-starter that wants to learn more about pet care
• Training is required & provided

Responsibilities and Duties

Dogs will be taken out to potty and for a walk or play, fed if needed, fresh water given, and accidents or messes cleaned up properly. Companionship and playtime provided. The sitter uses an app on their phone to track their time at the house and send updates/photos to client at the end of each visit.

Qualifications and Skills

We prefer an ideal candidate to have experience caring for animals in some capacity either for your own or professionally. Certifications as a Veterinary Assistant or Vet Tech are favorable. Past experience in pet related fields like animal rescue, grooming, dog kennel or doggie daycare are viewed favorably.
