Summary:
Hatalom has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Network Engineer. The Mid-level Network Engineer will develop software products and software tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Mid-level Network Engineers in this position are expected to:
- Perform network engineering functions including design, implementation, and optimization.
- Assess evolving user needs, translate these into network changes through network reconfiguration, hardware and software acquisitions, installation and test.
- Collaborate with the team to solve engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
- Addresses and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity relating to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 8 years of related experience or master’s with 2 – 6 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with DOD networking environment a strong plus.
- Must have a SECRET security clearance with the ability to upgrade to TOP SECRET/SCI.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None at the current time.
LOCATION: Cherry Point, NC - relocation assistance is not available for this position.
STATUS OF POSITION: Full-time, Salary Exempt
