Microelectronics Sales Manager

Summary:
The Microelectronics Sales Manager is responsible for seeking, developing, and securing new customers, projects, and contracts within the microelectronics market segment in the assigned territory. It also includes managing key account projects, increasing wallet share on existing accounts, and consistently achieving sales targets. The position requires providing prompt and accurate solutions to customer inquiries and serving as an essential communication link between the company and customers as well as between the global industries and Americas sales companies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with company personnel, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listen to and objectively consider ideas and suggestions from others; keep commitments; solve problems creatively, effectively, and decisively.
· Actively seek new segment opportunities with existing customers and with new targeted accounts
· Be the key point of contact (including commercial and technical matters) and first line for escalations within assigned accounts/projects
· Manage key Microelectronics projects:
o Identify industry opportunities and engage with customers, representatives and contractors
o Secure and verify project/construction schedules
o Coordination of resources (GF, trades, customers, etc)
o Ensure orders are placed within lead-times to meet project/construction schedule
o Liase throughout the project with Sales Companies, Production Plants and Project Management teams delivering tangible value to our customers
o Ensure sufficient sub-fabrication coordination and capacity is in place to meet orders
o Lead response to project sales issues across the organization
o Manage/coordinate training delivery to clients (as needed)
o Facilitate post project reviews with key clients to identify areas for GF improvement
· Positively represent the Global Industries organization to our business-partners across GF
· Obtain and report back on segment trends and competitor activities, provide key market intelligence
· Submit visit reports, action reports and any other reports required promptly to relevant recipients
· Proactively forecast and deliver/generate sales within the defined sales area for all GF products
· Provide technical support and product training as required
· Efficiently follow up on sales, leads and quotations monitor the market (i.e., trade shows, social media, publications, competitive bidding, project activity and requirements and customer/contractor/distributor interaction) and report actions and trends to the team.
· Work closely with associates on the sales team. Coordinates efforts with other regions, Segment Account Managers, Product Managers, or other Company departments to support territory objectives.
· Complete work accurately and on time, manage travel and sales time in an efficient manner, manage cost center, expenses and meet or exceed personal goals and/or critical performance factors.
· Act committedly regarding the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and neighbors. Exhibit the five GF Core Values in daily business activities.
· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Five years of industry sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Personal computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office and CRM.
- Successful track record of meeting sales objectives annually
- Detailed knowledge of GF products and services, with the ability to upskill on technical aspects
- Comfortable discussing technical requirements with potential customers
- Strong negotiation skills to navigate between commercial and technical matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Awareness of vertical market segments and ability to interact with differing levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong business partnering skills and the ability to be a steward of the business
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
· Ability to discern an assortment of colors (wires, electronic components, etc.).
· Ability to perform typical field activities including but limited to:
· Ability to lift50 pounds. Occasionally.
· Climbing ladders.
· Bending.
· Reaching.
· Carrying equipment, tools, demo boxes, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
