Overview
Dexter, a premier manufacturer and distributor of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts and accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Merchandising Assistant at our distribution facility located in Mt. Pleasant, TX.
The Merchandising Assistant is a critical position to ensure all products are setup properly and ordered on time to ensure customer needs are met and the team achieves all key KPI’s.

Position Summary
Job Responsibilities Include:
Key cost and price changes into systems- Perform data maintenance into systems
- Setup new items for the buying and field teams
- Work cross functionally with the entire team
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
Education – Experience Required:
Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners- Team oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Administrative experience including typing, data entry, 10-key, telephone, fax machines
- Past experience in large organization preferred
- Previous item setup and ERP experience preferred
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
