Responsibilities of Certified Medicine Aides (CMA) / Med Techs:
- Administer medications and treatments within the standards of practice as per certification permissions and state regulations.
- Prepare and administers routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and documents administration per Alpine policies
- Maintains medication supply, cleans and restocks medicine carts and medicine room.
- Notifies pharmacy of new medication orders and refill.
- Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
- Maintains current knowledge of medications and investigates unknown medications before administration.
- Perform all aspects of LNA duties
