Medical Front Desk Receptionist needed to join our team at Claremore Primary Eyecare, a fast-paced optometric practice with multiple locations and plans for continued growth and expansion.

This person is the face of our company and makes the first impression when greeting the patients. Excellent communication and customer service skills both on the phone and in person are a must. The individual best suited for this position should possess the following characteristics: self-motivation, organization, creativity, conscientiousness, attention to detail, positive attitude and the ability to be proactive and innovative. Being flexible, adaptable to change, and the ability to work effectively in stressful situations are necessary to be successful within the company.

This position will provide the opportunity to learn and gain new experience in areas such as medical insurance as well as the ability to learn other positions within the company as we prefer to promote from within. Previous receptionist experience especially in a medical office is preferred, but not required. HS Diploma/GED required for basic math skills related to cashiering duties and applying medical insurance co-pays. We are willing to train someone with the right personality.

Training may take place for 2-4 weeks at another location in Broken Arrow, Collinsville or Sand Springs so reliable transportation is expected. May be required to cover paid time off for other employees at these locations occasionally.

Pay is based on experience and skill set.
