- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A quick and eager learner and team worker
- Must be proficient with computer programs
- Medical billing experience preferred, not required
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Verify and input insurance information- Communicate with patients, follow up and handle issues
- Contact insurance companies regarding patient accounts
- Update demographics
- Transmit claims
- Charge review
- Submit appeals to insurance companies as needed to secure payments on claims
- Additional duties as assigned
SCHEDULE:
- Full time, flexible hours
- Option to work 5, 8 hour days or 4, 10 hour days
- Hybrid options available after training period
