Status: Per Diem, Per Diem Team Members provide a minimum of 4 shifts per month that they are able to work, based on the needs of the department. 2 of the 4 shifts must be on a weekend.

Shift: The preferred candidates will be available to cover all shifts.

Job Summary

The Direct Care Supervisor daily routine include but are not limited to coordinating activities of personnel in the Memory Care and the Assisted Living areas, on an assigned shift, promoting high quality of care; assesses the needs of residents and ensures services are consistent with needs. Such care will be delivered with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all, Communicate with Doctors, Nurse managers patient related issues.


Skills and Knowledge

Ability to keep accurate records and to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Participate in problem solving in a manner that reflects the facility mission and philosophy of care.

Required Qualifications

1) Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalency.

2) Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant (Clinical) training program or must have completed a comparable core curriculum through an accredited college or university nursing program as deemed appropriate by Brio This core curriculum includes Medical Terminology, Medications/ Pharmacology and Body Structure and Function.

3) Previous hands-on experience and training on injections and wound care and the ability to successfully pass a competency evaluation by an RN Instructor/Trainer.

4) A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisor or lead role within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

5) Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

6) Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant preferred.


All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, TB screen at time of hire and verification of professional licensure, if applicable. In addition, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or agreement to participate in weekly Covid testing.
