Dawson is assisting a local partner in their search for a Media Buyer & Planner. In this position you will work closely with both the Account and Creative teams and be responsible for developing multi-channel communication plans for clients.

- Create media plans and strategies for clients, identifying the most optimal outlets and channels to place our clients’ campaigns, as well as providing unique approaches to reach identified audiences for each account
- Create reports to share with the client, outlining the placements’ frequency, impressions, and other KPIs for each piece of the campaign
- Knowledgeable in SEO practices such as keyword research, content optimization, site optimization and link building
- Provide expertise in areas of paid media and outreach strategies, digital media buys, and placing media assets with Google ads, paid social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok), and other digital media DSPs (while collaborating in a seamless way with the account and creative teams)
- Ability to analyze trends, as well as quantitative and qualitative data, in order to recommend changes and optimizations
- A desire to stay up to date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and paid media, and bring new strategies and ideas to the team when crafting plans for our clients’ integrated campaigns
- Develop new ideas to add impact for clients, as well as create timelines that will keep momentum for the campaign
- Demonstrate channel neutrality, considering all options in developing recommendations and tactics
- Analyze media program results, identify areas for optimization, and develop actionable insights
- Maintain and monitor client budgets
- Effectively negotiate media buys and actively seek added value when appropriate
- 5+ years’ experience in Media Buying, Media Planning, or Media Relations
- Expert at strategic thinking and solving challenges
- Detail oriented and excellent at maintaining client relations
- Experience developing and executing successful digital media strategies, based on client budget, target audience(s), and goals
- Experience utilizing paid search strategies is desired, including keyword research tools and software
- Experience in planning, implementing, managing, optimizing, and reporting for social media campaigns is not required, but provides added value
- Experience with and certification in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio provides added value to this role
- Creating and launching solutions for a wide variety of clients, products, and services
