Job Summary:

The MS/Tele Float RN is a skilled and experienced registered nurse who provides high-quality care to patients in a medical/surgical (MS) and telemetry (Tele) setting. The RN will work as a floating nurse, providing care in various units within their skillset as needed. This includes but is not limited to medical, surgical, telemetry, and other related areas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions, based on the individualized needs of patients in a medical/surgical and telemetry setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to detect changes in patients' conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on the care plan, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
• Act as a resource and provide support to less experienced nursing staff as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice, including infection control protocols and patient safety measures.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
