- Develop and manage projects from concept to completion, including: maintaining control of project expenditures to avoid cost overruns; supervision of contractors and vendors; and maintain control of project schedule.
- Conducts field investigations and prepares reports for problems, issues and resolutions.
- Establishes and enforces performance levels and expectations in project plans and confirms conformance to project plans and specifications.
- Assists in the troubleshooting process to assure identification and resolution of mechanical and hydraulic issues to maintain productivity, product quality and minimizing equipment downtime.
- Supports and encourages employee involvement in continuous improvement activities including Safety Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Maintenance Excellence activities.
- Experience developing detailed and thorough scope of work for projects.
- Keep abreast of engineering and manufacturing technological developments for the purpose of assisting management in formulating strategies for meeting business objectives.
- Provide technical advice to the organization in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for assigned areas of responsibilities.
- Required to lead by example and advisement. Responsible for directing the work of internal craftsmen and supervising outside contractors.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-7 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and fluid systems troubleshooting skills.
- Familiar with maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
