Essential Functions:
Essential Functions Statement(s): Assist Manager with the following:
- Able to understand and read blueprints and drawings
- 2D drafting; creating models and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Building Information Models (BIM)
- Coordinate, input and maintain building information
- Prepare and document Bill of Material (BOM) as needed
- Revise prints and BOM as needed
- Supporting quality assurance review process including modifying engineering designs prior to final release
- Good communication between design teams, consultants, and architects
Position Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with MS Office
- Must be detailed oriented
- HS Diploma required, some college related courses are an added plus
- Strong communication skills a MUST!
- Be flexible with level of work loads
- Able to work with a fast pace / multi-tasking environment
- Elevator knowledge a PLUS
- Must be able to read and comprehend codes and government documents
- Must be reliable with basic attendance and punctual understandings
- Interpersonal skills required and are a must
- Accomplished Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks
- Minimum 3 years drafting experience
Skills & Abilities:
- Computer Skills: Basic, on the job training, in-house programs, Microsoft (Excel, Word)
- Able to read blueprints, drawings, etc. is a plus
- AutoCAD, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor
- Job duties may require coordination and/or some level of 2D drafting when workloads are higher at times
- Must be flexible
