DUTIES:

  • Performing manual and clerical work related to the receipt, stocking, minor maintenance and repair, and issuance of various supplies, materials and equipment of a general or specialized nature.
  • Recommending equipment purchases.
  • Preparing funding requests, requisition and fiscal documents.
  • Tracking purchases through receipt and inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with GSA and authorized vendor procedures.
  • Purchasing and managing uniform and gear issue/receipt and maintaining the Unit Authorized
  • Equipment List. This includes tracking of all newly hired civilian police officer initial uniform issuance (training, duty and dress). A duty uniform includes duty gear, equipment in support of the execution of security and law enforcement, and ballistic vest protection. Initial uniform issue is defined as uniform items and equipment that is issued during a civilian police officer’s 1st year as a police officer, or until the police officers begin receiving their annual uniform allowance
  • Assist with basic inventory functions in order to support installations with law enforcement accountability system
  • Periodically perform physical inventories, make simple arithmetic computations to reconcile physical count with inventory records and order requests
  • Investigate and reconcile routine and recurring discrepancies relating to actions such as receipt control, stock control, and inventory adjustments, and shall immediately report to a Government authority outside of the supply chain of command any discrepancies where wrongdoing is suspected
  • Provide support for research of equipment and logistical searches in law enforcement databases in order to support MCLE accountability inventories
  • Issue general and specialized goods and supplies
  • Input and retrieve inventory information using a variety of software application programs, including word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Support logistical operations in order to ensure accountability of overall MCLEP inventories
  • Provide clerical and database management support in order to improve law enforcement logistics and supply systems
  • Possess the ability to assist with the maintenance of logistics and supply systems. The Contractor shall have the physical attributes to support the stocking and storage of equipment in warehouses for inventory accountability to maintain safety requirements and support these activities in a secure environment. Physical attributes include the ability to bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time to unpack, unload or shelve items, have the ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and have the ability to lift arms above shoulder level to stock and readjust shelves.

  • Provide assistance and support in the receiving and storage of gear and equipment for law enforcement inventories at the installations
  • Input and retrieve inventory information using a variety of software application programs, including word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Support logistical operations in order to ensure accountability of overall PMO/MCPD inventories. Provide clerical and database management support in order to improve law enforcement logistics and supply systems
  • Assist MCLE in the conduct of Uniform Boards for the Government as required. Support includes assisting with research, creation of presentations, set-up of packages, and organization of material for Government review
  • Assist MCLE in revising policy for the conduct of the Uniform Board for Government review and approval, select a venue, notify participants of the conduct of the Board and publish the results of the Board
  • Assist MCLE with program and policy support regarding logistics and supply
  • Contractor support may be required to travel in support of on-site inventories of supplies and logistics at the MCPA, as well as attending law enforcement conferences and expos in support of resourcing and modernization of new law enforcement equipment
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or qualified exemption for disability or religious belief, practice, or observance)
  • Carry out other tasks as requested and assigned by the corporation, in time and manner. Likewise, the employee must adhere to and abide by what is established in the policies, regulations, codes, and provisions of the company. For example: To Download and install of apps needed, to take on-line training, etc.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience working DOD Level Supply and/or Logistics, or for (4) years’ experience working as project management lead or supervisor in Supply and/or Logistics
  • Demonstrated experience with acquisitions and procurement


SKILLS / EXPERTISE:

Required:

  • Tracking supplies and controlled items
  • Database input and query
  • Demonstrated experience with acquisitions
  • Ability to create reports, spreadsheets, and PowerPoints utilizing Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrated experience shipping equipment and materials

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in any field
  • Computer or database processing experience
