Job Responsibilities

1. In accordance with established policies and procedures, inspect, unload, put away and accurately document the incoming receipt of all supplies, packaging materials and raw material (meat) in a safe and efficient manner

2. Will be required to learn the spotter truck duties

3. Will be providing support for the Ground Sausage Supply Person with the loading and unloading of trailers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess or have the ability to obtain fork-lift license & be able to perform all duties with a high regard for safety

• Must be able to obtain a Truck Spotter License

• Must follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices

• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills

• Must be able to be trained in trailer spotting/Yard Jack

• PHYSICAL: Must possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds & be able to work in an uncontrolled and varied temperature environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous fork-lift/stand-up jack experience

• Previous warehouse and receiving experience

• Strong telephone communication skills

• Must have good attendance record preferably no more than 2/3 absence days in the past twelve months

• Previous experience working with inventories and related functions

• Strong knowledge of all JOTS departmental operations

• Experience in truck spotting

• AS/400 experience
