Job description

Work from requisitions to properly pull, stage or deliver various raw materials used in the processes throughout the company to meet production and shipping goals. Responsible for proper paper and electronic administration of orders, storage of raw materials, inventory counting and control. Operates forklifts, compactors, bailing machines and various hand tools, maintains cleanliness of warehouse areas, removes trash, and assists in other areas of the warehouse or other departments as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Checking requisitions received against GTR’s

· Completing administrative and electronic functions for requisitions and inventory

· Pulling, staging or delivering requisition orders

· Inventory preparation and cycle counting

· Communicate problems with supervisor or warehouse manager

· Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse

· Operate forklift, other machinery and various hand tools

· Assisting in other warehouse areas or departments as needed

Education and Experience:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent

· Practical warehouse, order pulling and inventory control experience

· Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills

· Possess a valid Driver’s License (For purpose of obtaining forklift certification)

· Forklift experience required

· Ability stand for extended periods of time

· Available for weekend work schedules and mandatory overtime as needed

· Required to lift a minimum of 50 lbs – more with team lift

· Ability to contribute to building a strong and positive team spirit as well as align with GSP values

Physical demands:

· Standing: Standing for lengthy periods of time

· Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (Includes upward pulling) of up to 50 lbs

· Carrying: Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder

· Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction

· Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips

· Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly

· Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds by ear

· Depth Perception: Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.75 per hour
