Job description
As a Material Handler, you will bring down containers, create and process orders, sticker and package the orders for shipment. You may also be asked to move package goods into the storage area.
You will:
- Understand and comply with all applicable internal and external health, safety, security, and environmental policies.
- Safely perform operating tasks using a variety of chemical processing equipment.
- Transfer material from container to container. Follow established procedures in packaging material into containers (pails, drums, totes, tank trucks etc.).
- Clean equipment as required for maintenance or next packaging.
- Maintain housekeeping at excellent levels.
- Operate forklift in a safe manner.
You have: a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and reading skills, ability to lift 70 pounds, and good computer skills.
We are looking for someone who: keeps safety at top of mind at all times, works well in a team environment, has the ability to move drums weighing up to 450 lbs. with proper equipment, and has excellent attendance.
It will really wow us if: you have SAP knowledge, forklift certification, and knowledge of pumping operations, tank operations, and filtration equipment
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay rate: $19/hr
