Foundations Learning Center is seeking Master Teachers to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children learn and develop. Candidates must be reliable and hold a current CDA,CCP certification. This is a Full-time position. Must be physically capable of performing necessary job duties, including standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, and lifting children. Having a positive attitude and being a team player is required. Pay is competitive and depends on experience.

Responsibilities

*Assists in implementing the program curriculum and the DHS child care Licensing requirements for classrooms *Follow daily schedule while creating a welcoming environment for children and parents *Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities. Required to be outdoors approximately 60 minutes each day *Chart children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents/family *Assist in preparing food and serving meals (when necessary) *Maintains a classroom that is clean, safe and free of clutter *Assists with recruiting classroom volunteers and planning activities for them to do in the classroom *Assists in conducting at least two parent conferences with each child’s family per year, according to the program schedule *Reports to work at scheduled times and maintains a good attendance record *Maintain Master Teacher licensing credentials through continuing education and training. *Other duties as they are assigned

Qualifications

*CDA, CCP, Minimum one (1) year credits from an accredited college or university *CPR/First aid certification or obtain within first (1) week *Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills *Ability to lift bend and stand *Ability to follow routines and schedule *Ability to work as a team *Positive attitude and genuine love for children

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
