Master Key Representative 1 – Remote Location Colorado

Job Title
As a Master Key Representative, you are a crucial part of the Allegion team, responsible for processing time sensitive orders and providing technical assistance on the design of master key systems. This is a technical role that analyzes the customer security requirements and interacts with external customers via email and phone to determine the optimal master key solutions. This position will also work closely with various internal departments including sales, operations, marketing, IT, and finance to deliver a positive customer experience while meeting our corporate goals and policies.
What You Will Do:
  • Plan and design Schlage master key systems and complete Schlage master key order entry functions within assigned quality and production metrics with supervision
  • Develop an understanding of master key solutions to address the varying needs of the customer
  • Develop an understanding of key control policies and procedures as it relates to key systems
  • Provide consultation services for end users, sales reps, and dealers on the various elements of a master key system, which may have varying degrees of complexity; assistance may be required
  • Manage service/support interactions with customers by shaping the customer expectations, delivering on those expectations, and deepening customer loyalty via incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and requests
  • Proficient in basic knowledge of product and features for assigned brands/product categories, and the ability to identify and/or communicate basic order management functions (i.e., indexing, first review), product, and features for Allegion brands
  • Maintain sensitive customer records using both physical and electronic mediums
  • Understand the basic profile of the customers, and their most common needs and expectations. Tailor the support approach to fit the need of each customer and/or situation within established guidelines
  • Gather and document service request information through the effective use of CRM tools
  • Utilize and manage all appropriate ERP business systems for assigned product brands
  • Receive, edit, and enter incoming customer purchase orders accurately to meet all service level agreements as set by management
  • Meet master key order entry audit metrics as assigned by management
  • Contact customers to resolve unclear order issues
  • Active participation and collaboration in virtual meetings
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
  • Additional working hours may be requested to meet business needs
What You Need to Succeed:
  • 6+ months of customer service or order entry experience required
  • 3+ months of Schlage and/or Falcon order entry experience preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of PC based software applications (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to develop cross-functional, professional working relationships
  • Ability to learn and work with complex and detailed tasks
  • Must possess strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently in a virtual environment
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
  • The expected Base Salary Range: $40,000 - $52,400. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
