Gilbane is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Specialist in Philadelphia, PA to lead production and development of sales and marketing deliverables companywide including qualifications, proposals, presentations, and marketing campaigns that align with our business and organizational objectives and support the continued growth of Gilbane. - Lead production and coordination of multiple sales and marketing deliverables simultaneously, while ensuring deadlines are met
- Plan and execute action plans identified in presell, capture plan and proposal strategy meetings
- Create proposals and presentations to ensure they address the unique issues of each client/project
- Interview operations project team members to identify solutions and value adds to include in sales and marketing materials
- Manage and develop content as well as layout for articles, proposals, publications, awards, etc.
- Lead strategic revisions on proposals to meet sales and marketing criteria
- Use independent judgment and professional writing skills to enhance the features, advantages and benefits of Gilbane’s capabilities across each sector - locally and nationally
- Partner with business development and lead presentation production, as appropriate
- Develop and implement strategic local/divisional events
- Assist planning and implementation of local business unit events such as trade shows, dinners, golf or other charitable activities, open houses, groundbreakings
- Oversee mitigation planning to account for unforeseen time constraints in deliverables
- Balance short-term proposal priorities with long-term divisional/national marketing initiatives
- Support training and mentoring of junior staff where applicable
- Lead maintenance of critical data for projects, team members, and market sectors utilizing our data management systems
- Represent Gilbane at tradeshows or industry events
- Bring “best-in-class” knowledge to markets or a focus area (design-build, VDC, P3, etc.)

Qualifications:EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in the marketing and/or AEC industry
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

- You are proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
- You are creative and a visual thinker that will look for ways to create graphics from words; helping our proposal messaging stand out.
