Our customer is a leading international medical technology company for spine and orthopedic products in its field. The company employs around 900 people worldwide who are dedicated to the development, manufacture and sale of the product portfolio. The company's products are sold in more than 50 countries.

In order to strengthen its market presence in Germany, our client is looking for a qualified market development specialist who will work closely with the sales manager and support the successful introduction and implementation of new products in Germany.


Your tasks

  • Market and competitive analysis, collection of data for upstream
  • Implement new product launch, transfer prices, sales prices, documents (translation outsourcing), demo material
  • Identify the target group of early users, further potential and take over the first product presentations at the customer's site
  • Traveling with sales reps to promote the new products
  • Operational support during the 3-5 first cases with sales reps and collecting surgeon feedback
  • International exchange within the market development team
  • Identification of new business opportunities

TRAINING NEW SALES EMPLOYEES

  • New salesperson training plan, program, schedule, assessment.
  • Workshop and customer presentation
  • Cover 2-3 first cases per indication for sales force training and technical assessment

CUSTOMER TRAINING

  • Support during workshops for new and key products
  • Create KOL networks
  • Participation in local and international congresses
  • Support and implementation of all national events
  • Proactively seek speakers for national and international surgical courses and ensure adherence by healthcare professionals

Education and language skills:

  • Master's degree in a scientific field / MBA preferred
  • Fluent in English and German

The professional qualifications:

  • Marketing or product management experience
  • Experience in the medical device industry is a requirement for this position
  • Willingness to travel to Northern Germany
