How will you make an impact?
As a Manufacturing Scientist III in Technical Support group, you will transfer production processes of life saving drugs to commercial lines. You will do so by collaborating with customers and multiple cross functional teams. You will analyze client’s requirements by evaluation and thorough assessment of the technical aspects of the manufacturing process.

What will you do?

• Act as a primary technical liaison between the Technical Support (TS) group, the other cross functional supporting groups, and clients. The scientist will provide the operations group with technical support during compounding, filling, inspection, and packaging of sterile pharmaceutical products.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients with a high level of technical proficiency.
• Support the implementation of new technologies, component systems, change parts, and other process related activities to support ongoing and new projects. This work may include process improvement activities, product transfers, single use system design, and other activities that would be project driven.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to other scientist with regard to client interactions.
• Make decisions that will support both client requests, adherence to the rules of GMP’s and support the goals of the project.
• Lead resolution of problems related to the manufacturing of sterile pharmaceutical products.

• Typically requires 2 years of experience in a related life sciences field including 1 year in pharmaceutical company (preferred in steriles).
• Experience working directly with clients.

• Proven creativity in designing novel solutions to complex technical problems and expertise in development approaches as applicable to area.
• Ability to collaborate with co-workers and clients to meet goals.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Ability to create effective solutions to complex technical problems.
• Solid technical writing skills.
• Strong self-motivation and leadership skills.
• Ability to prepare/present oral and written presentations.
