Job Description

HHS is seeking a reliable candidate to Work with the systems implementation team as part of the new Agile collaborated team of DHHS, Child Welfare Information Systems- VISION

Responsibilities:

• Conduct test basis analysis, identify test conditions, create test data, input test data, and verify the expected results for application product integration and user acceptance test phases

• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures

• Participate in the sprint teams to assist with the creation of manual test cases that are later turned into an automated test suite

• Create the automated test suite on the TOSCA platform and maintain the test suite going forward

• Work with basic SQL queries to do required data analysis for testing front-end and back-end processes

• Create test plan in ADO, execute the test cases, and log defects

• Conduct smoke, sanity, regression, exploratory, and performance testing

• Involve in data load and data-sync testing

• Develop repeatable fully automated tests, using the Tricentis TOSCA tool, that will operate without manual intervention

• Provide creative solutions to challenges encountered developing repeatable automation

• Rapidly update tests based on changes in the application

• Create test coverage using risk-based testing techniques

• Execute unattended testing and maintain the test environment

• Effectively use third party tools and system utilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and/or a combination of education/certification and work experience.

• [2 Years] Experience developing automated test cases using TOSCA

• Thorough knowledge of automated functional regression testing, Data driven test development techniques, Object recognition, Test validation,

• [2 Years] Lights out unattended automation and Following framework and guidelines established by the QA Leads

• [2 Years] Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage.

• [2 Years] Ability to develop creative solutions, to challenges that arise, developing a repeatable automated test suite

• [5 Years] Demonstrated ability to effectively use third party tools and system utilities

• [5 Years] Demonstrated ability of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills

• [5 Years] Ability to work well in a project team

• Knowledge of Dev/Ops Concepts and continuous testing

• Experience working in an Agile project methodology

• Knowledge and experience deploying risk based testing techniques

• Experience developing and executing API test cases

• Experience with batch testing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
